Ok, so maybe I'm totally late to this party, but I've just discovered the joys of streaming BBC Radio online. My favourite is Steve Lamacq on BBC6: http://www.bbc.co.uk/6music/shows/steve_lamacq/index.shtml. You can listen to the last 7 days worth of shows, though they don't make it so easy to get to the tracklist from the player, it's still super-cool, and the way radio should be: great variety of music with good bits of interviews interspersed and actual backannouncing. Elbow, XTC, Joy Zipper, Joy Division, Marvin Gaye, Pixies, Bob Mould, Pink Floyd, Curtis Mayfield, Billy Bragg, lots more.
